RIIA's Curriculum Book Can Now Be Purchased

The Curriculum Book for the Retirement Management Analyst Designation is now available for purchase from Amazon. For the first time now, this book is available without specifically having to sign up for an RMA educational program. I've been asked about it from time to time, and some readers found that the PDF version of the 2nd edition is downloadable from a US Senate webpage. The book has been vastly improved since the 2nd edition though. It's now in the 5th edition. The price tag is a bit hefty, so I doubt it will be an impulse purchase for too many, but it is an important part of the library for anyone taking a serious interest in retirement income planning.

  1. Wade, my understanding is that RIIA releases a new edition of the Cirriculum Book each year. If that is correct, when in 2014 will the 6th edition likely be released. I intend to purchase this book, but at $150 I'd hate to do so just a few months before a new edition was released!

    1. Hi,
RIIA's plan is to have a draft version of the 6th edition finished by March, which I suppose is what will be used in any RIIA training programs after that. The planned publication date for the 6th edition is October 2014.
