On Friday, September 14, at 4pm Eastern Time, I will be presenting a webinar called, "Retirement Income With Systematic Withdrawals And Immediate Annuities"
at Advisors4Advisors. My understanding is that anyone can freely attend
by just filling out the registration form. You are welcome to say either yes or no for the question about starting a trial for the 6-month
membership.
This is going to be 5am in Tokyo, so I will wake up early and drink some coffee first to be awake.
Drink ocha instead!
ReplyDeleteDear Wade,
ReplyDeleteI listened to your presentation on retirement income yesterday and I want to thank you for such a compelling presentation. I am a TIAA-CREF retiree (into year 13 of retirement) and I am happy to say that the old TIAA gave much greater emphasis to secure retirement income than the new Ibbotson-fed slice and dice wealth managers.
As a 70-year old, Wade, I was especially struck by the graph comparing cognitive decline and retirement confidence. My wife and I--both retired academics--continue to structure our portfolios toward the objective of auto pilot for the benefit of our beneficiaries. The job is not yet complete but we're getting there!
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it!
DeleteThis is another good column by Michael Finke, one of the authors of that research:

I'd love to see this. Is it possible to view this without registering?

DeleteI think you have to register to see it.
Though I don't know when I will get to it, at some point I'm planning to record some presentations on my own to post here.
So if you are patient, that is another option.
Thanks for your interest.
Wade, Many thanks. I will wait.
ReplyDeleteIt appears to me that when you register you are actually signing up for an Advisors4Advisors Membership.

In registering for access to Advisors4Advisors.com, I acknowledge that I am an institutional investor or acting on behalf of an institutional investor.
Sorry about that. I think they make it harder to see replays than to see the original live version.
DeleteMaking presentations for the web is on my to-do list, though it's not at the top of the list.
Thank you.
