Steve Vernon's "Money for Life" book

Steve Vernon, a writer for CBS MoneyWatch, whom I had the pleasure to meet in March and stay in touch with since then, has published a new book about retirement income planning called Money for Life: Turn Your IRA and 401(k) Into a Lifetime Retirement Paycheck. I had a chance to read a draft of the book and I found it very helpful and informative, especially on issues related to how taxes interact with retirement income decisions.

If you are a fan of his columns, then you will enjoy the book. It is written more with beginners in mind, but it definitely includes lots of information to keep more sophisticated readers engaged.
